Super Moon

As I crawled in the Virtual Dumpster I call the Internet....
I picked something out to share!

Madeline's Lament by Nox Arcana Album: Shadow of The Raven @ YouTube
This is how it looked to me as I sat and smoked on our porch. I watched it emerge from the cloud slowly. It was 9:30 ish.

Later the sky cleared and it all looked ordinary.  I love clouds. With the full moon light they reflected all sorts of tones on gray. I am pushing myself to do more freehand stuff so I can improve my art skills. I still need schooling.

Nox Arcana is an American dark ambient musical group, formed in 2003 by Joseph Vargo and William Piotrowski. Nox Arcana specializes in concept albums based on gothic fiction and classic horror literature. Such literary references include: H. P. Lovecraft, brothers Grimm, Ray Bradbury, and Edgar Allan Poe. Some of their albums also make reference to medieval themes and ancient mythology. [from the wiki]

Bluezy, I love that picture! It's awesome. It was a beautiful moon here in SC. No clouds around it when I saw it but it's color was gorgeous. My camera didn't capture it well at all.

Very cool, love the music:) Such a dark fairytale feel to it!

Re: Thanks for sharing!! That is a wonderful song, I really love it:))) I've heard it before, but didn't know who made it. It's the same as has been used in a video I posted right before Christmas:

You should definitely have a look at it, it's so wonderful and spooky and I think the song fits right in with it:)

Hope you have a great Sunday!

This song is sad, but I chose it from the immense collection offered by the group because of the title.
Madeline's Lament and my artistic pseudonym is MadelineWoe.
The song is of course about Madeline Usher from the Fall of the House of Usher by Edgar Allan Poe.
There is also a song with the same title that is part of the Interview With A Vampire soundtrack.
I love how Nox Arcana and other groups incorporate the music box as an echo of eeriness. Slow like a sad or tragic childhood.
