I was on YouTube thinking about doing band mascots. And just decided to pick this out: MegaDeth won an award for this song from the Humane Society called the Genesis Award. Hmmm....Don't get me wrong...I loved this entire album...but I thought it was a piece of "why really?" info that I picked out.

Every year, The Genesis Awards pays tribute to the major news and entertainment media for producing outstanding works that raise public awareness of animal issues. The 25th Anniversary Genesis Awards TV Special will air on Animal Planet on April 30 at 7:00pm ET/PT and on May 1 at 8:00am ET/PT.
I imagine the Band must do a lot of fund raisers or what not to get that award.
I saw in passing Dave Mustaine on some panel for a game show maybe Hollywood squares...I dunno.
