Monkey Puzzle

As I crawled the Virtual Dumpster I call The Internet...

I just thought to google the words "Monkey Puzzle" as it was one of my father's favorite trees and I think monkey's are cool and love this Peter Gabriel song!
And if you like B rated horror...Shakma is an awesome movie about a mentally deranged baboon!   If you search it on Amazon, OMG it must be a rare item because the DVD is 190 bucks? And the VHS even more...IDK WTF if you just search watch online...you might find it...if that is what you do...

There is also a movie called "Blood Monkey", but I have not seen it. And I will watch it after this post online it is on instant play on NetFlix!!.  I posted about Shakma a while back, but it is one of the first things I remember when I think of monkeys...is this movie freaking me out. And I believe they have a playlist on YouTube with the full movie. There is another movie about psycho monkeys...Congo.  So if you are feeling like being scared by monkeys...(besides seeing them at the zoo with their big wangers erected and throwing shit at you) the above would make a killer scary movie session on a boring night.

The song was remade in a more metal version and worth the share. Ironic that Ozzy just recently had his genomes read last October! I did a post on [here] it and edited this pic to celebrate all the monkey fuss fuss. I love the Ozz Man. So he ate the head off the bat...is that all you see in him...then you are more related to the monkey than he.

Coal Chamber _ Shock the Monkey by doommy

Believe it or not, when I googled 'monkey puzzle' I got about 4,320,000 results (0.13 seconds)! I understand that it is looking up both words combined and separately, but still that is a whole fucking lot of data. I picked out some stuff...

First of all the TREE. Scientifically named "Araucaria araucana" The tree is unusual type of pine like tree and the cones...well they look like spiky green monkey nards.

Monkey Puzzle Press is an interesting pick. Their one line caption on their website says it. "Different Voices for a Different Species". They are a magazine and a publishing web that states "We look for daring writing that exhibits intelligence and creativity, socio-political-cultural awareness, and humor".

monkeypuzzle.com features work by a designer called Sallie Belle. It has an Asian flare, and is pricey as designer stuff must always be. Yet this pendant which I liked was only 81 bucks...

There are two music bands that I found named Monkey Puzzle. One is a cover band out of Omaha, NE and the other is a Funk band and has a myspace page with samples. I would not enjoy the funk genre, but it is like music they might play on deck of a senior boat cruise...and I would be forced to hear it? NO I would have to abandon ship.

monkEyPuzZLelive.com the Omeeha based cover band has a cool logo and some YouTube videos

Finally...there is the book:

I love a book with good illustration. I need to read it to the Gbabies. The guardian has a video of Axel Scheffler drawing the Gruffalo I like to see stuff like that...real time drawing...yep, kind of boring...[link]

Thanks for stopping by!

Nothing like Peter Gabriel's Shock the Monkey. And I love Ozzy. For all the drugs and insane amounts of alcohol he's consumed he's still got it when he's on stage. We're lucky he's alive. Good post. Love that necklace. My Kali is a turtle lover.
