The Death Of Duchess Satine Revisited

As I crawled The Virtual Dumpster I call The Internet,

I am compelled to re-post this from 2013 because it approaches Valentine's Day.


Cartoon moment of unhappiness. The animator captured the look of loss between Obiwan and Satine. Brought a tear from me. If He were not a Jedi and She were not a Duchess. Unspoken love, yet so apparent. In her death it was a sad sad valentine.

Obiwan in shock that Darth Maul leathally plunged his weapon into Satine.

Satine's immediate look exchanged. "I am dying my love."

"I have always loved you", she says.

Speechless, Obiwan's eyes tell it all.
